I use Spector Bass guitars exclusively..and my main weapons these days, are a 5 string Euro LX Custom fretless and a 6 String Euro LX both fitted with two EMG Soapbar pick ups.

I use Hartke Amplification exclusively also, which includes a HA5500 head and two 4x10 XL cabs.
I also use a Hartke "Bass attack pedal/DI box,and a Harke HS 1200 1X15 kickback combo for home practice and teaching.

I have also recently entered into an endorsement deal with Mr DEAN MARKLEY and am now very proud to use his "BLUE STEEL" range of bass strings exclusively. I use... BLUE STEEL ML 2679's... gauges .0.30/.0.45/.0.65/.0.80/.105/.128..... Awesome sound indeed.

I use KLOTZ cables, and also for live work,an Audio Technica wireless system.

I have been working on a new website, but as yet it is not up and running...bear with me on this one eh.Having said that...You can find out more of what's going on in "Biscuitland" by checking out( www.myspace.com/biscuitandbass4 )I look forward to hearing from you there.

Over the years i have played Mozart to Metallica..Jazz,Blues Soul,Rock and most in between. If it has bass,i wanna play it,and if it has'nt,then i wanna add it.
With regards to my solo efforts,i would best describe my work as "Varied" i can't really be pigeon holed, and i like to constantly suprise the listener ha ha.So be prepared.
Let's just call it "BISCUITISATION" of bass eh!

Some video's will be added real soon!

My thoughts right now are on getting the job done...whether that is taking care of my family and friends and working on those musical projects for myself and other wonderful musicians out there. And hoping that life gets that little bit better everyday for those who are much less fortunate than ourselves, and anything i can possibly to to help that come to pass,i will do...Hopefully through the language of music and reason.
Peace,Love and Respect to all of you...from ya BISCUIT.

....Known as "BISCUIT", i am a self taught bass guitarist of some 20 years now.I play 4,5 and 6 string Spector bass guitars exclusively, and have used them all with many bands during live and recording work over the years.I am predominantly a "Solo" artist and session player these days and also offer bass tuition. I am an Endorsee/Artist for SPECTOR bass guitars and also an Endorsee/Ambassador for HARTKE bass amplification systems. During the early part of 2009, I was also invited by Jake Kot and Raul Amador at Bass musician magazine, to become part of the staff as an interviewer/writer and have my own column entitled "Rock bass Artist's spotight with BISCUIT".And to add to this, I am very proud to announce that I have now been approached by Top string manufacturer Dean Markley and now have an endorsement deal where I use "Dean Markley "BLUE STEEL" strings on my basses exclusively. All of the above recognitions I am very proud of,and to be recognised by the likes of Spector,Hartke and BMM and Dean Markley is very flattering indeed and I thank them all for their friendship and support over the years. I feel that I have achieved much in the world of bass, and music in general but there is still a long way to go yet. I am currently working on material for my second solo album, which is keeping me busy at the moment, and various other projects too, but having said that...If anyone out there should require some "Biscuitised" bass on their work, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am very much looking forward to making contact with as many of you as possible hear at www.bass-musician-mag.com and also facebook...Just look for BISCUIT AND BASS.

My Influences are so Varied, that there is not enough room here to list them all,but in the world of Bass,my Top 4 are Jaco pastorius,Billy Sheehan and John Myung and Mike Inez.

Bands and Artists are way too numerous, but i would say my biggest influences are from the world of rock, with the likes of...Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake,Journey, Iron Maiden,Judas Priest,Ozzy and more recently, and probably the best of all are Dream Theater.I am a big lover of grunge too,so Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam are up there in a very big way.
Having said that,I love the great jazz, blues and Soul artists too..i.e. JACO,Stu Hamm,,Marcus Miller and the like.If you would like to get deeper, then drop me a line and i will be glad to give you the full range.
